Welcome Letter

Barcelona, an open and cosmopolitan city whose origins date back to 4000 documented years of History, will host the XXVI AEDEM National Congress in June 2012.

"Creating new opportunities in an uncertain environment" has become the motto of a conference in which we aspire to achieve the highest peaks of research excellence. The Congress will start with the participation in a plenary lecture by Professor Finn Kydland, Nobel laureate, who with their presence will enrich and enhance the convention. Moreover, the publication of a selection of our works by Springer will increase dramatically the quality and dissemination of our research papers internationally.

BCN'12 AEDEM Conference would not be possible without the work, dedication and efforts of a large number of people who, day after day, put all their hopes for this Congress. In this regard let express my appreciation to all members of the Organizing Committee, Board of AEDEM, appraisers, associates and sponsors, and of course, all participants who have placed their trust in us.

These lines do not want to end without paying tribute to one who has made it possible: AEDEM now be able to catapult into a privileged position in the circles of excellence in scientific research, our beloved Master Teacher, His Excellency. Dr. D. Prado Camilo Freire, who will always remain with us as long as the flame of his memory.

Welcome all to AEDEM Barcelona 2012 and enjoy the opportunities offered by our city. The Organizing Committee wishes you a good Congress.
